About Me

I am a Systems Engineer with a strong background in software development who, driven by a genuine passion for data, has transitioned my career toward the field of Data Science. This shift has not only been a natural evolution of my technical journey but also a conscious decision to explore how data can generate meaningful impact across organizations.

To support this transition, I have earned several industry-recognized certifications, including Certified Big Data Engineer and, more recently, Data Analyst. Through this learning path, I have developed strong skills in building data pipelines, data transformation, exploratory data analysis, modeling, and data visualization—all with a clear focus on driving value from information.

My goal is to continue growing in the field of Data Science, applying my knowledge and skills to solve complex problems and contribute to the success of organizations through data-driven decisions. I am excited about the opportunities that this field offers and I am committed to continue learning and adapting to new technologies and trends.

Latam Challenge Academy - 2025

It took 258 hours of effort, dedication, study, practice and commitment to learn how to be a true data analyst.

Certified Big Data Engineer

Arcitura Inc. - 2018

This was a completely theoretical course, but I was trained on Big Data platforms and solutions, including processing, storage and pipeline construction.

Certified Big Data Professional

Arcitura Inc.- 2017

This course, also theoretical, was my first step into Data Science and allowed me to gain an understanding of the main concepts, technologies, models and methodologies used to manage a big data environment.

BigData: Data Visualization

Coursera/UAB - 2021

Course given by the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona through Coursera, in which I learned not only the concepts about visualization, best practices and so on, but I learned directly on the platform Tableau.

Google Cloud Product Fundamentals

Coursera/Google - 2021

In this course offered directly by Google through Coursera, I was able to learn the basics of cloud services provided by Google Cloud Platform, especially those related to data engineering topics.

SCRUM Professional Course

Platzi - 2022

Doing this course was required to work in Open Intelligence, where we used an agile methodology that was actually a mix between Scrum and SaFe; in it I learned what is necessary to perform properly in a working environment guided by this methodology.

SQL for Data Analysis

Latam Challenge Academy - 2024

Here I reinforced my knowledge of the SQL language, especially what is needed to do data analysis, such as data cleaning, groupings, filters and so on.
